The Dissect Framework is a Java framework that helps developers add data feed processing capabilities to their applications easily. It offers the flexibility of using various sources of data like flat files, queues, etc. New data feeds can be added via an XML file. Some of the features are: - Parsing of CSV records and other delimited records
- Parsing of fixed width records
- Configuration controlled via XML file
- Use of varied data sources like flat files, queues,etc.
- Parsing of multiple data feeds in parallel
The framework has been tested on Sun JDKs 1.4.2 and 1.5. It can be used in stand-alone Java applications as well as enterprise applications. |
